David's Smoothie Recipe

 

Into a blender:

Grind 1 tsp. flaxseeds

Grind a handful-plus of walnuts and a handful-minus of almonds

Mix 2.5 cups water, 2 tsp. unbleached sugar / honey, 1 tsp. ginger, 0.5 tsp. turmeric

Crush 4 ice cubes

Puree 2 cups / 10-15 strawberries, 1/2 banana (optional)

Mix 1 scoop plain / vanilla (unsweetened) soy protein powder, 1/3 cup non-fat milk powder or evaporated milk / condensed milk (optional)

Stir manually 2 - 3 oz. Red Wine (or other source of buzz, but red wine has phenols!) (I have stopped doing THIS!)

 

Decant into celebration glasses

Quaff!
